Job Description
Based in our Apia Samoa office and reporting to the Shared Services Manager of PFL you will be overseeing the container cleaning team to ensure operational efficiency including training on Health & Safety procedures.
You will also:
- Supervise the cleaning of both empty and full containers to NZ/AUS MPI requirements and standards
- Collate & maintain all container cleaning records
- Prepare Export containers as required
- Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed and adhered to
- Carry out regular training for the Container Cleaning staff
- Complete all weekly/monthly reporting and administrative tasks as required by principles
- Identify process and report damaged containers received at the yard/port
- Conduct regular stock takes of chemicals; ensure the safe use of and storage of chemicals
- Ensure the cleanliness of the yard and port
- Any other duties as requested

This is a multi-faceted role where you will be overseeing a small team to make sure our container cleaning operations are running smoothly. You will have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to lead a team to success!
