Job Description

Our client is a top-notch company specialized in manufacturing who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Strategy and Development:

  • Establish a competitive costing strategy and lead the implementation of thorough and efficient material costing procedures in collaboration with the Dev-Com team internal Bottom and Shoes Costing teams as well as external T1/T2 Bottom suppliers.

General and Task Management:

  • Oversee and deliver bottom pricing in alignment with each brand s critical timelines and margin targets.

  • Proactively collaborate with design development Dev-Com Bottom and Shoes Costing teams to drive a cooperative approach aimed at optimizing material costs while meeting performance objectives.

  • Gather and analyze raw material market prices and manufacturing cost data evaluating raw material pricing and LOP costs from T1/T2 Bottom suppliers.

  • Examine detailed cost analyses from T1/T2 suppliers negotiate seasonal pricing to ensure bottom costs and LOP remain competitive.

  • Partner closely with the Bottom and Shoes Costing teams to support the company in meeting margin goals.

  • Develop strong supplier relationships establish performance benchmarks identify improvement opportunities and work collaboratively with Dev-Com and Bottom teams to enhance processes.

People Management:

  • Lead and mentor the Bottom Costing team organized by material category.

  • Establish aligned OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for each brand continuously review progress and evaluate performance in collaboration with team members.

  • Foster and sustain strong working relationships with the Shoes Costing team.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor s degree or above in a related area.

  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in footwear costing and/or manufacturing is preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of footwear materials and costing methodologies.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications particularly Excel.

  • Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

  • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

  • Must possess the ability to see hear speak and write clearly to effectively communicate with employees and/or other stakeholders.

  • Requires proficient manual dexterity.
