Electrical Engineer - Construction Projects / Uruguay

• Responsible for oversight of Elec. contractors.
• Responsible for conducting construction coordination meetings with the team members OFE vendors and GC regarding electrical issues.
• Responsible to conduct regular site inspections for progress/quality and safety purposes in Electrical works.
• Responsible for liaising with Electrical technical inspectors and commissioning agents for electrical activities.
• Responsible for producing Electrical daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Responsible to review and provide feedback and responses on GC (electrical) daily/weekly / monthly reports.
• Support in constructability review of documents.
• Responsible for conducting and signing off on OFE CDE reports and technical recommendations for GC equipment materials and subcontracts.
• Responsible for tech evaluation of purchases and subcontracts regarding Elec. specialty.
• Support on commissioning activities.
• Support on verification of contractors progress.
• Support on equipment and OFE contracting and expediting.
• Support on update of the project schedule according to contractor schedule and progress.
• Support on vendor performance review.
• Support on developing equipment and material requisitions by drafting scope and gathering technical specification.
• Support on developing contracts requisitions by drafting scope and gathering technical specification of electrical discipline.
• Support on reviewing engineering deliverables and check compliance with clients requirements.
• Support on QA/QC process during the project.
• Manage electrical technical inspection activities.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 15 years professional experience.
• 5 years experience in the role.
• Degree Bachelors Architecture Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in being involved in Industrial Projects.
• Fluent English & Spanish.
• Strong relationship with client and cross-functional team members.
• Good interpersonal skills to influence others to achieve project objectives.
• Technical Skills: AutoCAD - Planning - Microsoft tools - Google Suite

Desirable

• 20 years professional experience. 
• 7 years experience in the role.
• Previous experience in specific Project management & design management for Industrial Projects.
• Experience in end to end service full project delivery.
