Job Description

Job Description:

Education/ Certification Mandatory:

  • Bachelors degree in one of the following fields or related studies: Business Administration / Computer/Data Science / History / Information/Data/Knowledge Management / International Affairs/Relations / Law / Library/Information Science / Management Information Systems / Paralegal Studies / Philosophy Public Administration
  • Project Management Professional certification or an equivalent.

Work Experience Mandatory:

  • Five (5) years of project management experience including responsibility for overseeing a project team and facilitating coordination and assignment of resources.
  • Previous experience with management of day-to-day contract performance and personnel.
  • Five (5) years of experience interpreting and applying the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) the Privacy Act (PA) 1974 as amended as well as related laws regulations policies and procedures to render a determination to grant access to records.
  • Two (2) years of experience processing FOIA requests using automation such as eDiscovery tools.

Minimum Qualifications - Senior FOIA Analyst/On-Site Lead:

  • Two (2) years of project management experience including responsibility for overseeing a project team and facilitating coordination and assignment of resources.
  • Previous experience with management of day-to-day contract performance and personnel.
  • One (1) year of experience interpreting and applying the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) the Privacy Act (PA) 1974 as amended as well as related laws regulations policies and procedures to render a determination to grant access to records as well as drafting responses and maintaining records for FOIA and PA requests; OR three (3) years of experience as a working paralegal.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Access Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Education: Bachelors degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
