JOB TITLE: F-16 APG Systems Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Greenville SC
PAY RATE: Up to $38/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:
-
Responsible for inspecting troubleshooting repairing overhauling and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established procedures specifications and standards.

Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems including:
-
Landing gear
-
Powerplants
-
Flight controls
-
Fueling/defueling
-
Aircraft movement launch and recovery
-

Read and interpret technical data schematics and maintenance manuals
-
Ensure work meets quality and safety standards
-
Support aircraft launch and recovery operations
Requirements:
-
Active or interim Secret clearance preferred (can start without; process begins at offer stage)

High School Diploma or GED
-
4 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience (e.g. Crew Chief Phase Maintenance Plane Captain)

F-16 or fighter aircraft experience preferred
-
Knowledge of APG systems aircraft systems operation and maintenance
-
Ability to work 1st Shift (5:30am 4:00pm) 2nd Shift (3:00pm 1:30am) or Weekend Shifts (Thurs Sun or Fri Mon)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
-
Aircraft Crew Chief/Mechanic experience (4 6 years)

Hands-on experience with aircraft systems operation and repair
