Job Description

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Camden ME
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Job Type: Full-time Contract (13 weeks possible extension)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Camden ME. The CNA will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care assist with daily living activities and ensure a safe comfortable environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming feeding and toileting.

  • Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure temperature pulse and respiration).

  • Monitor and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.

  • Provide mobility assistance including repositioning and safe patient transfers.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared spaces.

  • Support nursing staff with clinical procedures and care tasks.

  • Ensure patient comfort and respond to call lights promptly.

  • Accurately document patient care and updates in medical records.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Current CNA certification in the State of Maine (ME).

  • Minimum 1 year of CNA experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
