Job Description
Client seeks an entry-level Associate Attorney in our downtown Jacksonville FL location to join our firm specializing in Insurance Defense. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases that will enhance your legal career. This is a full-time in-office position.
Duties:
- Advocate for clients in insurance defense cases.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve excellent results.
- Engage in hands-on legal work to drive impactful outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active membership in the Florida Bar or have taken the July 2025 Florida Bar Exam.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate.
- Conduct thorough legal research across various topics.
- Maintain a high level of organization and accuracy in all aspects of legal work.
- Draft legal documents such as letters memos motions orders and pleadings.
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing for hearings and other proceedings.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active membership in the Florida Bar or waiting for Florida Bar Exam results.
Skills:
- Strong advocacy and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and innovative mindset.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated excellence in legal research and writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
