Job Description
Job Title: Assembler
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Location: Dexter MI 48130
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Shift: Monday Friday (2nd Shift)-Training Shift (1st and 2nd Shift)
Summary:
The Assembler I performs a variety of assembly tasks for electronic and mechanical components ranging from repetitive to moderately complex operations. This entry-level position follows established procedures and is closely supervised offering hands-on experience in manufacturing and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components such as modules boards panels frames and cables using visual aids diagrams and written instructions.
- Use hand/power tools jigs and saws to set layouts and perform assembly tasks.
- Conduct continuity checks and basic quality inspections to meet specifications.
- Disassemble rework and test prototype assemblies under supervision.
- Operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in production or distribution environments.
- Support shipping receiving inventory control and product storage as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions and follow established operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level role; no prior experience required though basic knowledge of production systems is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow assembly diagrams schematics and written instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common assembly tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
