Job Description

Hall Booth Smith is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team in its Atlanta office. This role will primarily provide comprehensive support for the firms marketing and business development initiatives along with day-to-day activities related to practice groups and individual attorneys. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional with at least five years of strong project management experience skilled at efficiently managing and delivering projects to successful completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own the day-to-day maintenance of the firms digital marketing tools including the website blogs and social media platforms.
  • Employs marketing analytic techniques to gather data on the performance of website blogs and social media and identify opportunities for improvement including working with SEO company.
  • Supports marketing department with administrative tasks and responses to attorneys staff and vendors.
  • Assists with requests for marketing material and updates materials as needed typically using InDesign.
  • Assists with seminars receptions client and business development events.
  • Supports marketing team with new attorney set up process.
  • Coordinates the promotional products.
  • Assists with writing editing and formatting the firms publications.
  • Research and identify potential speaking engagements panels guest articles and other opportunities to reach potential decision-makers.
  • Conduct research on industries companies clients and prospects.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for annual award nomination submissions and other key ranking directories.
  • Be an active contributor to the firms business development and marketing functions and support its goals through collaboration and sharing of ideas.
  • Assists with maintaining the firms client relationship management (CRM) software

Skills:

  • Minimum four-year college degree preferably in marketing journalism English business or a similar discipline. At least five years in a marketing role preferably within a professional services environment. Under certain circumstances the firm may substitute experience for educational requirements and vice versa.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations for client service collaboration teamwork attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills grammar and punctuation and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and projects and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency using PowerPoint and Outlook are required.
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign and WordPress is preferred.
  • Experience with website analytics and CRM program is a plus.
  • Work may require more than 40 hours per week to preform essential duties of the position; occasionally may require irregular hours.
  • Work requires sitting bending stooping computer keyboarding and continuous use of the hands telephone contact reading and lifting of 25-50 lbs. or more.
  • Work may also require travel to regional offices and offsite locations therefore work requires driving.
