We are currently looking to fill the position of Information Assistant Accreditation to join our Sobey School of Business team.

Job Information and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director Strategy and Accreditation the Information Assistant Accreditation will:

  • Manage information critical to the maintenance of accreditation strategy impact assessment program review and other external and internal quality initiatives.
  • Support processes and methods that support the efficient administration of surveys rankings and awards.
  • Maintain schedules assembles documents and project plans for committee meetings (Teams) accreditation processes including student assessment evaluation reports reviews and rankings.
  • Maintain multiple data collection instruments using Qualtrics forms and other platforms or software as required.
  • Request and collect data and organize it for use by multiple parties and processes (student graduate and alumni surveys learning program evaluation).
  • Organize scheduling and agendas for meetings and committees. Book and set up rooms orders catering as required. Take minutes and track action items for follow-up.
  • Plan for and support Deans Office and other School visitors (employers community partners peer reviewers) and Supervisors meetings information requirements scheduling travel and expense claims.
  • Supports additional strategic quality and accreditation initiatives at the request of the Dean Deans Administrative Assistant and/or Supervisor.

Experience and Education Requirements

To be the successful Information Assistant Accreditation you will have:

  • Completion of High School plus 2-year Community College business or office administration course.
  • Minimum two years related experience.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including website and virtual conferencingplatforms such as Teams Zoom.
  • Cross-cultural working experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to function independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated professional presence demeanor and judgement/discretion.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Experience in handling and maintaining confidential material.
  • Working in a University environment or comparable setting is considered an asset.
