Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Non-Financial Risk (NFR) specialist to join our Non-Financial Risk Team of ING Spain.

In the role of NFR Specialist you will hierarchically report to the Head of NFR.

ING is restructuring its processes controls and infrastructure to transform itself into a Digital Bank with the goal of end-to-end straight through processing. Non-Financial Risk Management uses sound principles of risk management to ensure that everything related to operational risk is within the risk appetite of the Bank maintaining the control environment at an acceptable level following a risk-based approach (proportionate to its value and criticality).

The NFR team performs oversight over the global NFR policies and best practice implementation within ING Spain and provides advice and challenge the risk/control owners on effectiveness of risk identification and mitigation. The team is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the ING Spain adherence to the NFR risk appetite and produces quarterly Non financial risk dashboard (NFRD) report.

Your key responsibilities:

As NFR Specialist your role is to:

• Be a trusted NFR advisor towards IT and Business management.

• Support challenge and monitor NFR risk management processes and quality.

• Participate in and challenge risk assessments on key strategic projects and programs.

• Support the Business and IT management on issue identification risk rating assessment action definition and follow up until issue solving.

• Contribute to the development maintenance and roll out the NFR Frameworks Policies Minimum Standards and Procedures.

• Perform Quality Assurance or deep dive reviews as part of second line monitoring.

• Identify external / internal developments initiatives and threats. Translate these proactively into the risk strategy.

• Monitor the design and effectiveness of controls.

• Contribute to the identification of the impact of and the coordination of responses to law and regulatory changes ECB reports etc. and monitors the follow-up of the regulatory issue solving.

• Support the Head of NFR with research assessing the risk profile of organization and reporting to Senior Management.

• Generate awareness related to risk management within the Organization.

• Develop and maintain training modules and train the IT / business community.

• Experience as NFR with approx. minimum 5 years

• University Degree or equivalent

• Professional education and multiple international certifications for risk management.

• Insight of digital banking related processes IT applications and regulations. We are looking for a colleague with specific experience in Business banking.

• Experience on End-to-End processes analysis to identify and assess NFR risks including root causes analysis.

• Expertise on testing methodologies.

  • Collaboration skills and ability to work across functions and countries.

  • Sound risk criteria: ability to be firm when needed and show flexibility when possible

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Tu rol y entorno de trabajo:

Estamos buscando una persona con talento y entusiasmo para incorporarse al equipo de Riesgo No Financiero (Non-Financial Risk NFR) de ING Espaa.

En el rol de Especialista en NFR reportars jerrquicamente a la persona responsable del rea de NFR.

ING est reestructurando sus procesos controles e infraestructura para transformarse en un banco digital con el objetivo de lograr un procesamiento directo de principio a fin (straight through processing). La gestin del Riesgo No Financiero aplica principios slidos de gestin de riesgos para garantizar que todo lo relacionado con el riesgo operativo se mantenga dentro del apetito de riesgo del banco manteniendo el entorno de control en un nivel aceptable mediante un enfoque basado en riesgos (proporcionado a su valor y criticidad).

El equipo de NFR supervisa la implementacin de polticas globales de NFR y buenas prcticas dentro de ING Espaa asesora y desafa a las personas responsables de riesgos/controles sobre la efectividad en la identificacin y mitigacin de riesgos. El equipo es responsable de monitorizar y reportar el cumplimiento del apetito de riesgo NFR en ING Espaa y elabora el informe trimestral del panel de Riesgo No Financiero (Non-Financial Risk Dashboard NFRD).

Tus principales responsabilidades:

Como Especialista en NFR tu rol ser:

• Ser una persona asesora de confianza en NFR para la gestin de IT y del negocio.

• Apoyar desafiar y monitorizar los procesos de gestin de riesgos NFR y su calidad.

• Participar y cuestionar las evaluaciones de riesgos en proyectos y programas estratgicos clave.

• Apoyar a las reas de negocio y IT en la identificacin de incidencias evaluacin de riesgos definicin de acciones y seguimiento hasta su resolucin.

• Contribuir al desarrollo mantenimiento y despliegue de los marcos polticas estndares mnimos y procedimientos de NFR.

• Realizar revisiones de aseguramiento de calidad o anlisis en profundidad como parte de la monitorizacin de segunda lnea.

• Identificar desarrollos iniciativas y amenazas externas/internas y traducirlas proactivamente en la estrategia de riesgos.

• Monitorizar el diseo y la efectividad de los controles.

• Contribuir a la identificacin del impacto y coordinacin de respuestas ante cambios normativos informes del BCE etc. y monitorizar el seguimiento de la resolucin de incidencias regulatorias.

• Apoyar a la persona responsable de NFR en investigaciones evaluacin del perfil de riesgo de la organizacin y en la elaboracin de informes para la Alta Direccin.

• Generar conciencia sobre la gestin de riesgos dentro de la organizacin.

• Desarrollar y mantener mdulos de formacin as como formar a la comunidad de IT y negocio.

Qu estamos buscando

• Experiencia en NFR de al menos 5 aos aproximadamente.

• Titulacin universitaria o equivalente.

• Formacin profesional y mltiples certificaciones internacionales en gestin de riesgos.

• Conocimiento del entorno de banca digital procesos relacionados aplicaciones IT y normativa aplicable. Buscamos una persona con experiencia especfica en banca de empresas.

• Experiencia en anlisis de procesos End-to-End para identificar y evaluar riesgos NFR incluyendo anlisis de causas raz.

• Conocimiento experto en metodologas de testing.

• Capacidad de colaboracin y trabajo transversal entre funciones y pases.

• Criterios slidos de riesgo: capacidad para ser firme cuando sea necesario y mostrar flexibilidad cuando sea posible.

• Excelentes habilidades analticas.

• Dominio del ingls (oral y escrito).

• Proactividad e iniciativa.
