Position: PS - Laboratory Analyst - Band BTA
Job Family Summary: The Laboratory Analyst role is part of the Plant Core Tech job family. This job family includes roles that are integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plants. Employees in this job family are responsible for a variety of tasks including routine lab analysis equipment maintenance and process improvements.
Job Description: As a Laboratory Analyst you will be responsible for performing routine usually basic lab analysis and tests. This role requires attention to detail a strong understanding of lab safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Rotating Schedule including Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine lab analysis and tests to support manufacturing processes.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the lab.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures.
Participate in training opportunities to develop basic knowledge and skills necessary for current job requirements.
Report to Site QA Leader
Travel & Relocation Expenses will not be covered.
Job Qualifications
A degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience is required.
Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of lab safety protocols.
Able to work under direct supervision and follow well-defined precedents and policies.
Must be clean shaven to be able to wear a tight fitting respirator.
Must be able to pass fit test qualification to wear a respirator.
