About the Agency
The Virginia Racing Commission (VRC) regulates the racing and wagering industry within the Commonwealth safeguarding public trust and ensuring accurate revenue collection and financial integrity. The VRCs Finance Division exists to uphold these objectives through effective budget management internal controls and comprehensive financial oversight of both the Commission and its licensees.
About the Position
The Auditor conducts detailed assessments of gaming operators financial records internal controls and reporting practices. Their work detects irregularities or risks in revenue reporting thus ensuring that operators fulfill all legal and regulatory obligations.
