About the Role
Rooftop Chimney Sweeps is seeking skilled individuals with construction experience especially masonry chimney or exterior building to join our team as Chimney Repair Technicians.
Your primary focus will be on traditional chimney work: rebuilding and repairing chimneys installing flue liners restoring fireboxes and performing exterior masonry repairs. Over time youll also receive training in gas line installation and gas appliance installation to broaden your skillset and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Rebuild and repair chimneys crowns and fireboxes.
Install stainless steel flue liners and chimney caps.
Perform tuckpointing waterproofing and masonry restoration.
Assist with wood stove and fireplace installations.
Learn to run and connect gas lines to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Maintain tools materials and ensure job site safety.
Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly on every job.
Requirements
Construction or masonry experience required (chimney experience is a plus).
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 60 lbs. work at heights and in confined spaces.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Willingness to learn additional skills in gas systems and appliance installation.

NFI Gas Technician Certification
Manufacturer-specific installation training
OSHA Safety Certification
