The Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership aims to increase postsecondary credentials and workforce success for Tarrant County students. Currently only 39% of adults have an associate degree or higher despite 65% of jobs requiring post-secondary education. T3 provides resources financial assistance and opportunities to students and families equipping them for successful careers. Through collaboration with various organizations we strive for inclusive pathways to education. Our goal is systemic change that positively impacts the entire Tarrant County community for generations to come. POSITION OVERVIEW The Family Alliance Associatewill build and deepen relationships with Tarrant County families to support them in making informed decisions about their students futures. This position will collaborate with school staff and community-based organizations to engage parents in a multi-tiered support program that allows them to attain scholarship dollars for their student participated in group education about the most effective pathways towards livable wage careers and receive individual coaching to support them in making decision around key student milestones.. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not supervise staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Recruit and establish strong relationships both with families and the local community to help build the T3 program throughout Tarrant County
- Analyze recruitment trends and data to create a metric-driven strategy around new family engagement that meets recruitment and enrollment goals
- Foster relationships and develop champions with youth-serving community-based organizations faith leaders elected officials and civic and community leaders with a focus on building new partnerships that will increase recruitment and lead to the positive engagement of the T3 Family Alliance communities
- Engage external stakeholders with a focus on building new partnerships that will support the work of communicating educational options to families in the communities we serve
- Research and register for local community events
- Create maintain organize and manage communication with interested families including email voicemail T3s website and social media.
- Create a community of families who are aware and eager to pursue student pathways leading to postsecondary credentials and livable wage career.
- Reach out to families (recruit) 1:1 and in group setting to educate on services/program of T3.
- Execute on T3s Parent Pledge campaign to enlist parents to receive our programmatic supports
- Attend community events to build relationships and awareness with families and relevant community members.
- Support school-based staff in executing family engagement events.
- Compel middle school families to take actions that build strong foundation for their students postsecondary pathways
- Provide relevant resources and learning opportunities for families regarding high school and postsecondary pathways
- Implement T3s family engagement communication strategy for assigned neighborhood/feeder pattern
- Help create family learning modules focused on family and community needs
- Facilitate family group learning modules focused on building student career interests understanding high school options navigating the transition to high school and any other needs of the campus
- Execute strategy to encourage families to complete virtual learning modules
- Act as a high-level case manager to ensure families get support needed to make informed decisions for student milestones
- Build a deep understanding of available services for families to access in a particular neighborhood/school feeder pattern
- Foster strong individual relationships with families to understand their students career interests and connect them to relevant resources/people to support
- Collaborate with families to set tailored and measurable goals in short and long-term
- Provide relevant training of P2C (Pathways to Careers) platform to families students and other stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS Education - Some college or Professional training Associate degree or Bachelor degree in relevant field required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience - 2 years of professional experience working within higher education K-12 education workforce development community organizing and/or in non-profit setting.
- Experience and success working in a matrixed organizational structure
Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Experience working with families of diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
- Experience working in an educational social service or family support service setting
- Knowledge of community organizations around the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
Knowledge Skills and Abilities - Proven experience building relationships with community partners to build brand awareness
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the abilityto be personable yet persuasive
- Experience managing through influence and driving results from multiple stakeholders without direct oversight

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS This position will require frequent travel throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding suburbs.
