Description

Oracles Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud and our mission is to provide them with best-in-class compute storage networking database security and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology programs across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional program management skills driving projects from concept to delivery while collaborating with engineers product managers and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or any relevant technical field
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management product management or software engineering with a proven track record of managing large-scale complex technical projects.
  • Strong technical background with experience in software development system architecture or infrastructure. Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers.
  • Expertise in project/program management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile Scrum Kanban JIRA MS Project).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Responsibilities
  • Define program scope objectives milestones and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and schedules track progress and ensure on-time delivery of complex technical projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering product design operations and other teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution across functions.
  • Identify analyze and mitigate program risks and dependencies. Proactively address challenges and roadblocks to minimize impact on timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program status providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership. Facilitate meetings reviews and status reporting.
  • Understand technical architecture and design decisions to effectively communicate with engineers and influence technical trade-offs.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and capacity planning to meet program demands and priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are managed and objectives are met.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $78000 to $158200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
