Join One of the UKs Leading Personal Injury Teams

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join Fieldfishers top-ranked Personal Injury practice - recognised as a Times Top 20 Law Firm. You will become part of a dynamic and high-performing team in Manchester dedicated to representing claimants in complex high-value asbestos disease cases.

This role provides a unique chance to contribute meaningfully to the success of our renowned Industrial Disease team while also developing your legal skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support partners and fee earners in managing casework related toclaims for asbestos-related diseases.
  • Prepare and draft documents for the High Court ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
  • Assist in the gathering and organisation of evidence to support claimant cases.
  • Aid in the preparation and completion of witness statements and schedules of loss.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with Counsel supporting discussions on case strategies and settlements.
  • Provide overall administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of case management and client interactions.
  • Supporting business development initiatives.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Paralegal preferably within the area of asbestos disease personal injury or clinical negligence claims.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail particularly in preparing legal documents and managing case files.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients fee earners experts and Counsel.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficient in legal research and adept at using relevant case management and document management systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in learning and professional development within the legal sector.
