Job Description

Whats the role

Our Enterprise Relationship Management (ERM) team was developed to institutionalize Gen IIs relationship management framework with a goal to retain and grow our client relationships. As Director of ERM for Europe you will ensure that Gen IIs value proposition is continuously at the forefront of every client discussion. This role reports to the Head of EU PE and services all three service line verticals acting as the primary relationship management leader for our European client portfolio.

What youll be doing

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients seeking out new business opportunities and advising on products and services that best fit their needs
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements and Quarterly KPI Reporting is in place for each in-scope client continuously evolving formats based on client feedback
  • Prepare quarterly Gen II administration reports covering relevant business regulatory client updates and client service KPIs for clients
  • Coordinate and host internal monthly calls regarding client service/activity maintaining ongoing action logs
  • Coordinate and host monthly or quarterly service meetings with clients regarding service performance and strategic developments
  • Review client service feedback and implement tangible client deliverable improvements to demonstrate quarter-over-quarter service enhancements
  • Develop client service action and remediation plans where concerns have been flagged with ongoing status reporting to management
  • Review client margins and implement tangible margin improvement initiatives to ensure targets are met
  • Develop clear plans to increase client wallet share and cross-sell opportunities driving client revenue growth through Salesforce tracking
  • Provide project management and oversight of key client projects including fund closing portal implementation new service implementation and client onboarding
  • Lead business development and client care activities hosting networking and social events with clients and prospects
  • Act as the primary European point of contact for providing demos of the Sensr Suite of Products to clients (Funded Sensr Portal Sensr Databridge Sensr Analytics)

The ideal background for this role:

  • Strong communication skills with a dynamic personality and ability to build rapport with C-level executives
  • Deep understanding of private equity and real assets industry including market trends and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal constituents (e.g. client service leads) and external clients
  • Strategic thinking capabilities with strong problem-solving skills and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Demonstrated leadership skills that gain client confidence and drive results through influence
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to work effectively across multiple service lines and departments
  • Experience in relationship management business development or client service roles within financial services
  • Bachelors degree in Business Finance or related field; MBA preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and client reporting tools
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience overseeing complex client initiatives
  • Ability to analyze financial data and client margins to drive profitability improvements
  • Experience presenting to senior management and client stakeholders

Unique role requirements

  • This role requires regular travel across Europe to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Flexibility to accommodate client meetings across different time zones within Europe
  • Ability to host and participate in evening networking events and client entertainment activities
  • Strong presentation skills for conducting technology demos and client presentations

Role Location/Hybrid Schedule

This role is based in either the London Southampton Luxembourg or Jersey office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business the office space available and the individuals preferences and circumstances.
