Job Description
Titan is hiring! We are seeking a highly qualified Knowledge Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support mission-critical AI-based services for a government client operating in a secure classified environment. Your Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ontologies taxonomies and metadata frameworks to support AI-powered knowledge management solutions.
- Collaborate with AI engineers data scientists and end users to integrate structured and unstructured data into intelligent systems.
- Evaluate select and configure ontology and knowledge management tools suitable for use in classified environments.
- Translate user needs and mission requirements into structured knowledge assets and models.
- Ensure all knowledge management systems and practices align with security and compliance standards applicable to classified data.
- Actively contribute to product development by identifying opportunities to enhance functionality and usability using state-of-the-art tools and methodologies.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices in knowledge representation semantic technologies and information architecture.
You MUST have:
- An active DOE Q Clearance.
- Extensive experience in knowledge and ontology management including hands-on use of industry-standard tools (e.g. Protg TopBraid PoolParty).
- Demonstrated ability to work with classified data and within restricted secure environments.
- In-depth understanding of ontology standards such as OWL RDF SKOS and SPARQL.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Its great if you also have:
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) tools techniques and frameworks.
- Experience with or knowledge of the Python programming language particularly in the context of data manipulation semantic technologies or AI integration.
- Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives in government or defense sectors.
- Understanding of human-in-the-loop systems or hybrid AI workflows.
Education:
- Masters degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or a closely related discipline.
Clearance:
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
