Job Description:
Our client is a leading provider of specialty commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and services. They are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their growing team. From their office in West Chester Pennsylvania they serve customers throughout the Tri-State area (Pennsylvania Delaware and New Jersey). They work daily to provide unparalleled technical products and services by representing manufacturers who share their desire to exceed customers expectations. Established in June 2003 primarily as an equipment manufacturers representative they have continued to expand on these relationships to allow clients to partner with their firm utilizing us as their HVAC specialist.
*learning to assess situations and provide solutions to extensive customer base.
*exposed to multiple HVAC system and controls systems as they represent approximately 30 manufacturers and services many others.
*working with inside estimating and application team.
*analyzing customer needs by understanding design requirements and applications.
*assisting consulting engineers to select equipment meeting project performance requirements.
*Promoting the product portfolio and the company among associations and networking groups.
*preparing a delivering promotional and educational presentations to consulting engineers design-build contractors end-users and mechanical contractors.
*helping build and retain customer confidence in the team.
Job Requirements :
- engineering (Mechanical preferred) or business degree with prior HVAC sales experience
- 3 years experience as an established field sales rep within the HVAC industry
- ability to hit the ground running
- meet or exceed customer expectations through communication and superior skills.
- manage their time efficiently and are self-driven.
- keep pace with the latest technology and applications.
- collaborate with fellow sales associates to enhance the services provided to the marketplace and customers.
- exposure to manufacturers training.
