ANTH/GEOG Work Study Student Assistant

• Greeting visitors filing and scanning archiving records photocopying creating and maintaining office files emailing transcribing providing classroom support and other related duties.
• Basic troubleshooting with technology (printers computers copy machine etc.).
• Updating websites and social media.
• Maintain office and event supplies.
• Assist with event planning.
• Maintain program office.
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Retrieve and sort incoming mail and distribute appropriately/ make on campus deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Demonstrates the ability to utilize office equipment (copy machines fax scanner etc.) and follow verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates the ability to be detail-oriented and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrates the capability to be motivated dependable and able to follow through on assignments.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently take leadership and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and office etiquette skills.

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
