Job Description
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect and repair pallets addressing defects such as broken boards missing components nail issues debris and contamination.
- Lift carry and move materials as needed throughout the workday.
- Organize and store materials properly to optimize space and ensure safety compliance.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes.
- Sort and stack pallets and materials by size and grade using APC methods.
- Accurately complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable federal state and local codes.
- Keep work areas clean organized and free of hazards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements.
- Safely operate pneumatic nailer.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous related plant/industrial experience is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.
- Able to stand bend kneel lift and reach for extended periods (810-hour shifts).
- Maintains a clean and safe workspace.
- Able to understand and accurately complete assigned tasks.
