M&J Engineering P.C. is a quality provider of multi-discipline consulting services with over 300 employees. M&J Engineering is a leader in construction management and inspection ITS mechanical electrical wastewater water supply tunnel airport port marine/coastal environmental engineering and design-build services for both new infrastructure projects and renovations.
The Contract Administrator supports WMATA in managing the contractual aspects of various projects. This role focuses on overseeing change orders resolving contractor claims and ensuring contractual integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project managers legal and procurement teams the Contract Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining compliance minimizing risk and ensuring the timely and equitable resolution of contractual disputes.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review change orders REAs and claims documentation.
- Maintain change order logs and contract files.
- Coordinate with contractors legal counsel and internal teams.
- Support negotiations and resolution strategies.
- Ensure compliance with WMATA procurement and legal standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Business or Law.
- 7 years of experience in contract administration or claims analysis.
- Strong understanding of public sector contracting.
- Excellent negotiation and documentation skills.
Salary: $100000 - $120000
