Support Nursery Manager

Salary: Up to 50000

Our client a well-respected early years provider is seeking an experienced and motivated Support Nursery Manager to support a group of nurseries across London. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who thrives on variety flexibility and the chance to make a real difference in multiple settings.

This is not your typical nursery manager role. As a Support Nursery Manager youll travel between nurseries across London providing expert operational leadership and hands-on support where its needed most from stepping in during leadership transitions to helping improve standards or mentor local teams.

Working closely with Area Managers and Nursery Leaders youll play a crucial role in ensuring each setting delivers high-quality care and education that puts children first.

What Youll Need

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager (or within a similar role) is essential
  • A strong understanding of EYFS safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • A flexible proactive approach and a willingness to travel across London
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A genuine passion for giving every child the best start in life

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in managing nursery operations across multiple sites when required
  • Provide short- and medium-term leadership cover for nursery managers
  • Support teams to meet and exceed EYFS standards and safeguarding expectations
  • Mentor and coach staff developing leadership skills within local teams
  • Help drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistent standards
  • Build strong positive relationships with staff children and families
  • Champion inclusive child-centred practice in every setting you support
