Job Description

The Peace River School Division is seeking qualified tradespeople to apply to be a Career & Technology Instructor with our division. This position will be part-time (0.70 FTE) and will provide CTS programming to high school students at Grimshaw Public School and Holy Family School in Grimshaw Alberta. This position will commence on August 27 2025.

Career and Technology Studies is designed for high school students to explore their interests and career options preparing for entry into the workplace or for further learning opportunities. The organization of this program will be under the guidance of the School Administrator and meet the Alberta Education Standards.

This position will remain open until suitable candidate is secured. The Peace River School Division thanks all applicants for their interest in working with our division - only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

Qualifications:

  • Journeymen Certificate
  • Good communications skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
  • The ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom

Requirements:

  • Provide an acceptance current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (must be dated within six (6) months of start date)

Annual Salary Range: $ 78 590 to $ 86 369 (dependent on full-timeequivalency (FTE) and years of experience).
