Program Manager
Supportive Services for Veteran Families
Full-Time 40 Hours/Week
$52000/Year
Schedule: Determined on a case by case basis
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Provides oversight of office operations staffing and financial assistance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Completes monthly quarterly and annual reports and statistics
2. Provides onboarding and ensures ongoing training for staff on best practice models in service delivery approach.
3. Manages daily program operations and supervises staff as appropriate.
4. Provides regular supervision case oversight and performance evaluation.
5. Provides direct service tasks as necessary in the absence of direct reports.
6. Understands HMIS system as it pertains to program reporting and outcomes and enters data as needed.
7. Models awareness and behaviors needed for growth and development among staff.
8. Develops relationships with key community partners.
9. Actively participates in SSVF Team meetings and coordination meetings for the purpose of program consistency monitoring and effectiveness.
10. Participates in community-wide events promoting services for veterans
11. Complies with agency policies and procedures COA regulations federal and state requirements and educational/certification/registry requirements.
12. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Demonstrated organizational interpersonal and communication skills
2. Willingness to learn and apply best practice models
3. Valid Ohio Drivers License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable; reliable transportation
4. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Social service coursework and minimum of five years working at a non-profit social service agency. Bachelor Degree in Social Work Counseling or related degree/experience preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with at-risk populations (homeless domestic violence veteran populations chemical dependency). Supervisory experience and working with veteran population preferred.
