Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Developer with 8 10 years of mobile application development expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building testing and deploying Android applications as well as experience working with modern Android frameworks and tools. This is a client-facing role that requires local Texas candidates for an on-site interview.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain advanced Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks fix bugs and improve application performance.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends technologies and best practices in Android development.
- Work with APIs third-party libraries and cloud services.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
- 8 10 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with Android SDK Android Studio and Gradle.
- Strong understanding of MVVM/MVC design patterns and Android Jetpack components.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML data.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of mobile app architecture performance tuning and memory optimization.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for Android apps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Firebase push notifications and analytics tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for mobile backend services.
- Local candidates to Texas only must be available for an in-person interview in Dallas.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
