Job Title: Mid-Level Test Engineer Selenium Automation
Experience: 5 8 Years
Location: Momento Cybertech Solutions Pvt Ltd. Hyderabad
Here is the detailed JD and the working hours are 3 PM IST to 12 PM IST.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mid-Level Test Engineer with 6 8 years of experience in Selenium-based test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing maintaining and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality of our web-based applications across multiple browsers and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation scripts for functional regression and cross-browser testing.
- Develop test cases based on product requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize browser drivers (e.g. ChromeDriver GeckoDriver) to ensure compatibility across different browsers.
- Integrate automation scripts with test frameworks like TestNG JUnit or Pytest for structured execution and reporting.
- Collaborate with developers QA analysts and product managers to identify test scenarios and resolve defects.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Generate detailed test reports log defects and provide root cause analysis where necessary.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain high test code quality.
- Contribute to the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) process by integrating automated tests into pipelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and tools in test automation and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 8 years of hands-on experience in test automation for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language: Java Python C# or JavaScript.
- Experience with test frameworks: TestNG JUnit Pytest or similar.
- Solid understanding of test automation architecture scripting best practices and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and browser behavior.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with cross-browser testing platforms (e.g. BrowserStack Sauce Labs).
- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with BDD tools (e.g. Cucumber SpecFlow).
