Job Description

JOB TITLE: Product Review Engineer L4 - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Heath OH
PAY RATE: $83/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

Summary:

  • Apply broad engineering knowledge to assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle

  • Lead research and develop interim and final engineering solutions for complex technical operational and quality issues

  • Conduct root cause analysis and manage dispositions for design non-conformances

  • Drive product and process improvements using innovative approaches to detect deviations and address nonconformances

  • Evaluate reported problems for potential safety issues and manage resolution strategies

  • Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews

  • Represent engineering from production through post-production phases

  • Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with standards

  • Develop customer communications to ensure continued safe operation and maintenance

  • Lead on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation/support teams

  • Design jacking and shoring schemes interim structural repairs and perform static strength analysis

  • Develop and lead non-destructive testing procedures tools and standards

  • Create and implement technical training curricula for internal and external customers

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical Aerospace or related field)

  • 10 years experience in electronic component testing

  • Hands-on product development and product testing experience

  • Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings

  • Basic understanding of software development processes

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

  • ABET accreditation preferred but not required
