Job Description
Performs complex production assembly tasks involving structural components mechanical assemblies subassemblies and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using both manual and automated tools.
- Install a wide range of parts and assemblies including landing gear aircraft control surfaces exterior panels carpets insulation blankets roller trays/ball mats stowbins sidewalls ceiling panels lavatories galleys doors and seating systems.
- Install components of various aircraft systems such as tubing valves regulators actuators compressors and ducting.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic instruments including screwdrivers ratchets powered screwdrivers multimeters and continuity testers.
Qualifications :
- 7 years or more experience in aviation/aerospace
- 7 or more years experience using software applications for internet navigation email Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
- 7 or more years experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions reading and interpreting blueprints drawings or specifications in English.
- 7 or more years experience in a technical or mechanical field performing work with basic hand power and/or pneumatic (air) tools.
- 7 or more years experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
