Job Description
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Laborer to join a leading recycling company in Malta. The ideal candidate will assist in the safe and efficient processing of recyclable materials with a focus on technical tasks such as electrical dismantling. This role is essential to supporting sustainable practices and ensuring materials are prepared correctly for reuse or disposal.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the collection sorting and processing of recyclable materials including metals plastics and electronic waste

Perform electrical dismantling of appliances and equipment safely removing components for recycling

Operate basic hand tools and equipment used in dismantling and recycling processes

Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Load and unload materials manually or with machinery as required

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

Support the recycling team in day-to-day operational tasks as needed
Requirements
-
Previous experience in manual labor recycling or related fields is preferred

Basic technical knowledge or experience with electrical dismantling or electronic waste processing

Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively

Good physical fitness and stamina for manual handling tasks

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work well within a team environment

Flexibility to work various shifts if required
