Job Description
Loving Nanny Needed for a Warm Fun Family in Moseley Birmingham October 2025 to April 2026
Happy Nest are delighted to be assisting a warm and affectionate family who are seeking a kind experienced and proactive nanny to care for their delightful little boy. He will be 12 months old when the role begins in October 2025.
This is a temporary position running until April 2026 perfect for a nurturing nanny who enjoys supporting toddlers through an exciting and important stage of their development.
About the Little One
This cheerful and curious little boy is full of personality! He absolutely loves singing from nursery rhymes to playful songs hes all smiles and giggles when music is involved. He also enjoys:
- Snuggling up for stories
- Exploring the outdoors
- Climbing balancing and discovering new things
- Trying different foods (hes a budding little vegetarian foodie!)
- Seeing animals and attending baby and toddler groups
He thrives in a loving playful and structured environment where he can explore safely and be gently guided through his day.
About the Role
The family are looking for a nanny with at least 3 years of professional nanny experience and a checkable work history. Youll be confident caring for toddlers and happy to work in a household where the parents occasionally work from home.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a fun nurturing day with songs stories and engaging play
- Taking the child to local baby groups and planning age-appropriate outings
- Preparing healthy vegetarian meals
- Doing the childs laundry and keeping their areas clean and tidy
- Supporting emotional and developmental milestones in a warm consistent way
The Details
- Location: Moseley Birmingham
- Days/Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8:00am 6:00pm 30 hours a week
- Start Date: October 2025
- End Date: April 2026 6 month contract
- Salary: 17-20 gross per hour (depending on experience)
- Employed by the family (PAYE)
Who Were Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years professional nanny experience
- A genuine love of caring for little ones
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Confident preparing simple wholesome vegetarian meals
- A reliable upbeat and nurturing personality with a love of singing a plus!
