General Notes
The Equipment Checkout team at Moody College plays a vital role in supporting students faculty and staff by managing the reservation preparation and return of media production equipment. We ensure users have access to reliable well-maintained equipment and a smooth checkout experience enabling successful academic and creative work
Purpose:
To assist in maintaining daily functions at Moody Equipment Checkout
Responsibilities:
Prepare and stage equipment for reservation pick-ups.
Assist students faculty and staff with checking out and returning equipment.
Accurately record checkouts returns and any equipment damage or loss.
Inspect equipment upon return and report issues with equipment as needed.
Organize and Maintain equipment storage area
Required Qualifications:
Current student at UT Austin
Plus any other required qualifications (such as Work Study)
This job requires US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of cameras lighting audio and/or grip equipment preferred but not required
Salary Range:
Set pay rate of $12/hour
Working Conditions:
Standard office conditions in a shared space.
Occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions while working in the main equipment area with overhead door open.
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Use of manual dexterity.
Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods.
Occasionally lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
