Job Description
- Prepare and record month end and general journal entries.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Complete various account reconciliations: researching and investigating discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
- Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed.
- Prepare work papers for year-end audit.
- Support AP and AR functions.
- Post AP invoices process AP payments via ACH/Wire & check.
- AP and AR dispute resolutions.
- Assist with creating work instructions to maintain and adapt accounting internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist with special accounting projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field.
- Five plus years general accounting experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and US GAAP required.
- Proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot Tables and V Lookup formulas.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent math aptitude.
- Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
