The Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) Finance Section is looking for an enthusiastic skilled and knowledgeable team player to serve as a Business & Finance Officer II supporting theBehavioral Health and Recovery Division which primarily includes Medicaid.


The Business and Finance Officer II reports to the KCICN(King County Integrated Care Network) Financial Operations Lead (BFO IV). This position plays a key role in the preparation and management of the KCICN Medicaid budget tracking and analyzing revenue tracking and analyzing expenditures maintaining the integrity of the operating budget overseeing accounting functions such as reviews revenue and expenditures with management and project managers which helps drive the strategic decision-making process for their programs. This position will track analyze and report revenue and expenditures for the KCICN book of business. This position will support the generation of the financial reporting materials for the KCICN.


This recruitment is to fill a Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) position that is anticipated to end one year after the start date. If filled by a King County employee who has passed their initial probation the TLT will be as a Special Duty Assignment (SDA).
