Now Hiring: Experienced Sterile Processing Tech - Evening Shift
Location: Rochester NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST weekends as needed (40 hrs/week)
Start Date: ASAP
Join a state-of-the-art Sterile Processing Department supporting 35 OR suites AFC units and clinics with cutting-edge equipment and the Getinge T-DOC tracking system. Play a critical role in patient safety by ensuring every instrument tray and pan is decontaminated sterilized assembled and delivered to perfection.
What Youll Do:
Inspect assemble package and sterilize surgical instruments trays and equipment.
Operate advanced sterilizers ultrasonic washers and other decontamination equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation for sterilization loads biologicals and quality checks.
Support surgical teams by ensuring the right instruments are ready-every time.
Must Haves:
Certified Sterile Processor (HSPA or CBSPD)
BLS (AHA only)
3 years sterile processing experience in a 500 bed hospital
6 months of travel SPT experience
2 professional references from most recent roles
Preferred:
Level 1 trauma center experience
Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER)
Orthopedic tray experience
