Job Description
Our client is a company expanding greatly in the energy market. It is one of the worlds largest methanol producers and works on EPC projects in various parts of the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for proposal preparation focusing on civil engineering aspects such as foundations structures (concrete and steel) and infrastructure.
- Conduct engineering tasks across conceptual FEED and detailed design stages.
- Develop materials lists data sheets specifications and design reports.
- Oversee 3D model development and review 2D drawings for accuracy.
- Prepare and review inquiries assess quotations and draft technical tabulations and recommendations.
- Monitor equipment and material purchases including document approvals fabrication oversight and inspection.
- Offer technical support on-site during construction as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial projects.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
- Preferred experience in power heavy industry gas separation oil/natural gas or process facilities.
- Strongly valued experience in construction projects.
- Willingness to travel for short- to medium-term assignments.
- Proficiency in English; additional German Portuguese or French language skills are beneficial.
- Software skills: AutoCAD finite element design software and MS Office.
- Soft skills: goal-oriented collaborative team player.
