Job Description

Company Overview:

Our Client a Karachi based company seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously review and monitor chemical consumption patterns to ensure timely planning for future requirements
  • Strengthen relationships with existing and potential suppliers as well as internal and external supply chain stakeholders to drive system improvements
  • Monitor chemical stock levels on a daily basis to ensure optimal inventory management
  • Coordinate with relevant departments including P&S IT and Finance to streamline supply chain processes. This includes expediting tendering technical evaluations contract awards LC openings material deliveries and ensuring timely vendor payments
  • Ensure timely initiation of purchase requisitions for raw materials and actively follow up to facilitate prompt procurement
  • Maintain regular communication with senior management subordinates and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Manage sales orders from creation to delivery. Coordinate with plant and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of chemical products
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products pricing availability and delivery timelines
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as managing schedules setting up meetings and maintaining customer records
  • Undertake any other task or function as maybe desired by the management

Education

  • Minimum 16 years of education preferably Masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder.

Experience

  • Preferably 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in chemicals petrochemicals or petroleum products.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI
  • Strong expertise in SAP for procurement and supply chain operations
  • Knowledge of import regulations documentation and international trade compliance

Age

  • The candidate should preferably be not more than 33 years of age as of the last date of submission of application.
