What you will be doing
As a Component Design Engineer you will be part of the Global Mechanical Systems Capability function. You will create engineering solutions that satisfy functional and physical requirements symptomatic of Product System and Sub-System level environments. Crucially the engineered solutions must exhibit robustness for manufacturing capability.
Working within ET&S (Engineering Technology and Safety) you will be responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of component design definition artefacts i.e. documents models definitions that meet system level and sub-system requirements. You will participate within an IPT described by Product Lifecycle System (PLS) and operate in accordance with applicable Rolls-Royce Management System (RRMS) policies and processes.
You will be responsible for sub-system integration of the technical activities for their design solutions and enabling lifecycle profitability through the Supply Chain Design.
