The Technician II is responsible for operating instruments in the lab and strictly adhereing to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
This position reports to the Commercial and Regulated Products Weekend Supervisor and is part of the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream located in Coralville IA and will be an on-site role.
Shift: Friday Sunday 7:00pm to 8:00am
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process product transfer and maintenance connection software.
Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma GED or equivalent
Some lab experience.
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Associate degree
12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
Extensivecomputer skills which include knowledge of the Internet Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
