Job Description
Position Summary:
A Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) is an entry-level position for recent engineering graduates. GETs undergo extensive training and hands-on experience to develop technical analytical and professional skills within the organization.
This role serves as a launchpad into specialized engineering streams with active mentorship from senior engineers.
Work You will Do:
1. Technical Support & Project Participation
- Assist in the planning development and execution of engineering projects under supervision.
- Complete all tasks and assignments set by senior engineers and project leads.
- Shadow experienced staff ask questions and actively participate in project meetings and training sessions.
- Perform basic engineering calculations create diagrams and document technical data.
- Support on-site work equipment testing maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
- Conduct research compile reports and present findings to supervisors.
2. Professional Development
- Attend various workshops and training programs to enhance technical and soft skills.
- Observe and apply health safety and quality standards in all assigned work.
3. Collaboration
- Establish professional working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Work effectively within a team contributing to group problem-solving and decision-making.
Team:
This role will be part of an IT team consisting of 8 members responsible for supporting the business operations through the SFDC / CPQ system.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer / Information Technology
