Job Description

Responsibilities Include:
- Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS including EC2 FSx VPC IAM S3 CloudWatch RDS Lambda and related services.
- Administer and optimize Linux-based systems (e.g. Ubuntu RHEL Amazon Linux) in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash Python or similar) to streamline provisioning monitoring and deployment.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitor systems using CloudWatch Prometheus or similar tools; respond to incidents and ensure system uptime.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and security teams to enforce cloud security best practices including IAM policies encryption and patch management.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of hands-on AWS experience including working with core services (EC2 IAM S3 CloudFormation etc.).
- Strong Linux system administration skills (package management networking troubleshooting performance tuning).
- Experience with Terraform CloudFormation or similar tools for IaC.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash Python).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git).
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs subnets security groups route tables).
- Experience implementing cloud monitoring logging and alerting systems.
- AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Solutions Architect Associate or higher).
- Experience with containerization (Docker ECS or Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible Chef or Puppet).
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g. FedRAMP HIPAA SOC 2).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Comfortable working in collaborative agile environments
