Recruitment Office at the Schulich School of Music
Position Summary:
The Student Recruitment Office at Schulich School of Music is seeking a friendly organized and motivated person to join our team as a Recruitment Events Ambassador. This role focuses on supporting the planning and execution of recruitment events that help prospective students learn more about the university. From open houses and campus tours to auditions the Recruitment Events Ambassador plays a key role behind the scenes and on the groundhelping ensure our events are welcoming efficient and memorable for all attendees. This unique role also combines the responsibilities of a traditional student ambassador such as leading tours.
While this ambassadors position has a distinct focus (event planning) all ambassadors are part of a unified team. You will work closely with one another attend team meetings contribute to group brainstorming sessions and support each others efforts during major recruitment events. A collaborative mindset is essential.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
Currently enrolled as a student or former student at the Schulich School of Music.
Outgoing reliable and enthusiastic about sharing your student experience with others.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
Experience with event planning or customer service is an asset.
Availability on occasional evenings and weekends for key events.

Knowledge of English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
