Job Description
The Arlington Public Schools has an opening for a part-time (0.2 FTE) music teacher at the Gibbs Grade 6 School. We are seeking a dynamic and talented music educator who demonstrates strong pedagogical music skills. They will work collaboratively in a team of highly motivated and dedicated Gibbs School and PreK-12 Performing Arts Department educators. The successful candidate exhibits dynamic interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students and can maintain and enhance enthusiastic engagement in music-making in a safe supportive and student-centered environment. Applicants should be familiar with Soundtrap app and audio editing. Proficient on guitar and song writing skills are prefered.
Salary and Benefits are consistent with theCollective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.
TheSalary Scheduleis on our website. Salary placement is based on Education and Experience.
