Position: Registered Nurse Triage - OBGYN - Days
Location: Naperville IL
Full Time: 36 hours/Week
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST. Friday8:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST. No On Call Weekends or Holidays.
What you will do:
Under the direction of the Supervisor the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) whose responsibilities focus on: patient education phone triage entering referrals/prior authorizations occasional rooming of patients RN visits injections staple removal and wound checks surgery/procedure must be able to interact well with both physicians and clinical support staff on a daily basis to ensure patient flow/appointments and phone customer service/effective communicator required in for this very busy practice. Skills to include assisting with phlebotomy/injections as needed.
What you will need:
Current Illinois RN licensure
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
Office RN and BSNpreferred
Prior work experience in a OBGYN setting highly preferred. 2 years of strong clinical RN experience preferred and at least one year of work experience in a Physicians Office is also highly preferred.
Self-starter able to handle periods of high stress
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
Able to effectively communicate in English both written & verbal
Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime evening and Saturday rotation and able to travel to various clinic locations with physician.
EMR experience preferred with strong typing skills necessary
