This role is available as an internship or a working student position.
In this role you have the opportunity to
contribute to the design and development of software solutions and communication protocols for our patient monitoring products that enable connectivity and interoperability with other Philips products and clinical devices of other vendors. Our team is responsible for creating patient monitoring solutions used in the worldwide market in emergency and intensive care pregnancy and neonatal monitoring as well as for anesthesia.
Your role:
Design develop and test software components for patient monitoring within the interoperability and connectivity scope. Responsibilities include implementing standardized communication protocols and managing network communication.
Drive investigations exploring various technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in an international Scrum team and take part in Scrum rituals collaborating closely with device interoperability experts software developers and architects.
Great if you have the following:
You are currently studying in the field of Computer Science Electrical Engineering Medical Technology with a focus on software development Medical Informatics or a related field
Good foundation in software development techniques including object-oriented programming with programming skills either in C#/.NET or C
Additional experience with Python version control (Git) and development environments (Visual Studio / VS Code) is desirable
Strong teamwork and communication skills along with the ability to work independently
Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are beneficial

Working Student position: depending on your previous experience and your current studies your salary will range between 17.58 /h and 19.70 /h
Internship: depending on the type of the internship
Voluntary internship longer than 3 months: 1952
Compulsory internship: 1500
