SSIS BCP and other data migration tools.
Query optimization and execution plan analysis.

Detailed JD

Lead the database migration effort ensuring a like-to-like transition from Sybase to SQL Server with a focus on performance scalability and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and execute migration scripts and stored procedures.
Optimize SQL Server schema indexing and partitioning.
Validate data integrity and performance post-migration.
Collaborate with application and ETL teams for seamless integration.
Document database changes and support production cutover

Experience level:

8 years in SQL development and database administration.
Hands-on experience with Sybase ASE and SQL Server.
