About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Labor and Delivery (L&D) Manager to lead a high-performing team in one of Las Vegas s premier healthcare facilities. You ll be accountable for the overall management and leadership of our L&D unit ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational excellence all in alignment with our mission vision and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- 24-hour management and leadership of assigned unit(s)
- Oversee all clinical and operational activities ensuring patient care meets and exceeds standards
- Establish and enforce standards of patient care and nursing practice
- Develop implement and monitor unit-based quality improvement programs and goals
- Direct and support staff retention and professional development
- Collaborate with CNS Perinatal Educator and leadership on evidence-based practice and education
- Lead recruitment interviewing and hiring of staff RNs travelers and residency/fellowship candidates
- Foster a culture of Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for patients caregivers and providers
- Serve as a patient advocate and support cultural practices
- Conduct rounds assess care and provide coaching and feedback to staff
- Manage grievances and support positive labor relations

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school (or ADN with BSN commitment within 2 years)
- Current Nevada RN license
- Current ACLS NRP and BCLS certifications
- 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- 1 2 years of progressive management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s Degree in Nursing or related field
- 1 year of first-line management experience
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school (or ADN with BSN commitment within 2 years) - Current Nevada RN license - Current ACLS, NRP, and BCLS certifications - 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience - 1 2 years of progressive management experience Preferred Qualifications: - Master s Degree in Nursing or related field - 1 year of first-line management experience
