On-Site Fridays 9 AM 7 PM Additional Flexible Shifts

Sole Hire has been exclusively retained by a respected independent pharmacy in Valley Stream NY to conduct a confidential search for a Part-Time Pharmacist. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a flexible schedule possibly a semi-retired professional or someone looking to supplement their hours in a friendly community-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy legality and appropriateness.
- Dispense medications and counsel patients on their proper use.
- Provide medication therapy management and ensure safe administration practices.
- Maintain organized inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy.
Requirements
Requirements
- Active New York State Pharmacist License.
- B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited school.
- Proven experience in retail or community pharmacy.
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and EHRs.
Nice-to-Haves
- Deep understanding of health & safety protocols and drug interactions.
- Ability to multitask independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability to cover vacations or additional shifts.

Benefits
Schedule: Fridays from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Additional days may be offered as needed based on coverage needs.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
