We are seeking someone to join our U.S Bank Capital Planning team as an Associate in Capital Planning to work across a variety of internal and regulatory initiatives.
In the Finance division we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management review analysis and advisory services of the Firms financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within the Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning Job Family which is responsible for planning managing forecasting and optimizing capital liquidity and funding resources; governance oversight of Treasury and Capital Planning; setting frameworks policies and guidelines for appropriate management of these resources; managing regulatory deliverables and exams; managing CCAR/Capital Stress Testing process.

What youll do in the role:
> Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
> Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area tools and/or products
> Adhere to the Firms risk and regulatory standards policies and controls
> Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firms values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
> Support internal stress testing preparation and production activities at the Firms US Banks
> Perform strategic capital and financial analysis across the Firms various legal entities
> Assist with drafting policies and procedures
> Assist in the production and coordination of presentations for Firm and Bank senior management and steering committees
> Assist with capital planning and stress testing automation and process enhancements including internal controls review and challenge and governance initiatives
What youll bring:
> Bachelors degree and strong academic credentials
> Professional experience in financial services accounting or management consulting
> Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and adapt to various audiences
> Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
> Well-developed analytical capabilities including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
> Self-motivation and the ability to work well in a team
> Ability to working in a fast-paced high-energy level environment
> Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work attention to detail and accuracy is essential
> Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel Word PowerPoint)
> Familiarity with CCAR / stress testing topics a plus but not required
> At least 2 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
